Old cane, carved ivory pommel representing the bust of an elegant young woman of the Belle Epoque, wearing a dress and pearl necklace and a small hat with a feather, signed by the merchant Ledouble Palais-Royal in Paris malacca, vintage late nineteenth century.

This cane is in good condition and is of high quality. The ferrule is also ivory. The pommel is signed on the back. We find the trace of this merchant on a promotional poster of the Palais-Royal who describes it as "Couturier for dogs" (poster kept at the Musée Carnavalet in Paris).

A note: some small slots in the back of the pommel, some scratches and wear on the shaft, look at the pictures.
