Goblet glassware from Murano (Venice, Italy), finely decorated with stylized vegetal pattern, shape flower colored applications and leaves on foot twisted, vintage late XIXème- early twentieth centuries.
This glass is in very good condition and is of outstanding quality.
A note: traces of dirt, it will re-clean with great caution, slight wear of time including the gilding in places, see photos.

Murano glass is renowned worldwide for its color and distinctive design and made the reputation of Venetian glass. Many of the important characteristics of Venetian glass objects were developed in the thirteenth century. Towards the end of this century, the center of the Venetian glass industry moved to the island of Murano. Murano glassmakers maintain their monopoly on the manufacture of quality glass for centuries, develop and refine several techniques, such as crystals, enamel, adornment in gold thread, multicolored glass (millefiori), the milk glass (milky white), and imitation gemstones made of glass. Today, Murano artisans still use these ancient techniques.
