Small saber or Tantô with hira-zukuri blade, hamon not readable, nakago to a mekugiana, signed Yokohama Ueno Daijo Fujiwara Sukesada. Fuchi-kashira (kabuto-gane type) in iron and gilded highlights. Two hanashi-menuki in shakudo and gilding with tiger and bamboo motifs, on tsuka ringed, iron sukashi tsuba, black lacquered sheath with ichizuki and shibabiki. Japan, period XVIIth-XVIIIth centuries.
This saber is in its juice, as in the photos.
To report: all iron elements are corroded, scabbard scratched, blade a little blackened, light snags on the edge, several misses including koiguchi, kurigata and kogatana, well look at the photos.
