Pair of bas-relief miniatures in carved ivory from Dieppe, representing a couple of "Incroyable et Merveilleuse": a man in a suit and a cocked hat holding an eyeglass; an elegant woman holding her small dog on a leash, in gilt wood frames, vintage first half of the twentieth century.
These miniatures are in good condition.
A note: the wire forming the leash is broken, missing what the man held in his left hand (a cane probably), slight wear of time, see photos.
Specimen in worked ivory, prior to July 1, 1947 and therefore conforms to Regulation EC 338/97 of 12/09/1996 art.2-Wmc.
