Large oil on canvas depicting a woman holding her young child on her knees, sitting in a landscaped park, a fruit bowl in front of her, signed G. Bailly * and dated 1920 vintage twentieth century.
This oil is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. It is very decorative because of its size. It has its frame (no original, which is not square, see last photo). Signed lower right, exhibition label at the top right.
A note: this table will be cleaned, a few holes on the border of the table (screw frame), some cracks and wear on the canvas, traces of restoration on the back, look at the photos.
painter (Ec fr). Student of Jean-Paul Laurens, Albert Laurens and Henry Royer. Associate of French Artists, she exhibited until 1939 and obtained an honorable mention in 1923. (Extrait Bénézit)
