Exceptional large oil on canvas depicting the baptism of Jesus Christ by St. John the Baptist in the Jordan River, flanked by two angels and a dove descended from heaven in a blackened wooden frame and gold, of late eighteenth time -early nineteenth centuries.
This table is in good condition, the canvas was restored, the chassis also (see photo of the back). The frame is mounted to the key (in a lack in a bottom angle). The cloth was sewn on the sides as was done at the time.
A noted: stains on the canvas back, wormholes, time accidents and wear on the frame, see photos.
