is a French poet and animal painter. In 1896, he created "Les Amis des Arts", a Cognac painting club, surrounded by a group of painters and students. He regularly exhibits at the Paris salon. He also wrote under the pseudonym Henri Sorsène. He painted oils on canvas such as La Verrerie Claude Boucher visible at the Cognac Arts Museum. He is particularly known for his animal painting. Thus, at the Jardin des Plantes, he made life drawings, a certain number of which are in the National Museum of Natural History in Paris. From 1896 to 1940, he was curator of the Cognac Museum which has a number of his works.
