Water tank pipe in wood, mother-of-pearl and silver-plated metal inlays, decorated with a character riding a buffalo in a landscape of pagodas and flowers, all surrounded by birds and butterflies, with a poem by the on the other hand, Vietnamese or Indochinese work, from the 19th century.
This pipe is in good general condition, it is in its original state. It is missing the stem or tip.
Note: accidents and missing mother-of-pearl, the two straps are moving, split in the wood, missing a small decoration on the side, small accident and repair on the part which closes the tank, wear and tear over time, see photos (red arrows).
