Asparagus tongs in solid Russian silver, finely chiseled and openwork, hallmark 84, Moscow, date 1879 and goldsmith (worn but most certainly Maison Sazikov*), vintage 19th century.
This pliers is in good condition. High quality. The punches are a little worn and hard to see.

* The Sazikov house is a goldsmith company founded in 1810 in the Russian Empire, famous for its objects made of gold, silver and/or decorated with precious stones. She has received numerous awards at different Russian and international exhibitions. Supplier to the court of SMI, it was one of the first silversmithing houses to begin to develop the neo-Russian style. It is also famous for its representations sculpted in silver.
