Necklace known as "Holy Spirit", pendant and necklace in finely chiseled solid silver (boar's head hallmark) set with Rhine stones, representing a dove holding a sheaf of flowers around its head, surmounted by a knot, Norman work, 19th century period.

The Norman Holy Spirit cross consists of a dove and a stone knot. A sheaf of flowers sometimes crowned the bird's head, or it might be surrounded by bunches of grapes which it was pecking at. Large stone crosses would supersede other types of crosses in the 19th century.
