Hand-painted oval miniature depicting the portrait of an aristocrat wearing an embroidered coat, mounted as a brooch in solid 18-carat two-colour gold chased with a vegetal frieze, hallmarks on the back most likely Paris jurisdiction, discharge mark and goldsmith's mark, 18th century period.
This brooch is in good condition. Hallmarked on the back (hallmarks slightly worn, difficult to identify).
Please note: there are signs of wear and tear on the miniature (especially on the right side), dirt (dust) between the glass and the miniature, tiny micro-scratches and slight wear and tear, please look carefully at the photos.
