* Claude Leclerc:

master in 1785. He works at the rue de Charenton ensiegne the "Passover Lamb", where he makes good seats Louis XVI classic as well as beds. Some of his models do not lack originality. This is the case of a gilded wooden living room furniture covered with Beauvais tapestry, which includes a sofa and six chairs, from the former collection of Mame Tours and sold in Paris in 1988. These seats, delicately carved water and acanthus leaves, feet banded grooves offer the particularity of belonging to both the Louis XVI style, with their hats in their folder and carved ornamentation, and Directoire style, slightly thrown by the form of these records and hind feet in saber. At the time of the Revolution, Claude Leclerc will ship rue de Charonne, where he will also produce furniture in mahogany or walnut; He was still active during the Restoration.
