Box or small wooden box decorated with bone plates carved geometric patterns, gilded brass mount, lid decorated with a painted miniature depicting a gallant scene with a couple in a bucolic landscape, XIXth century.
This box is in good condition.
A note: small slits on the miniature right side, slots also on the wood, wear of time, see photos (see red arrows).
