Round box in noble material and solid 18-carat gold (Tête de Coq Petite Garantie Gold hallmark 1809-1819), adorned with two oval miniatures on each side representing portraits of gentlemen or aristocrats in court clothes from the 18th century.
This box is in good condition and is of exceptional quality. Hallmarked see photos. The miniatures are from the 18th century and were mounted on the box at the beginning of the 19th century.
A note: tiny small shocks and deformations on the gold rim (see red arrows), the glass of the miniature below is cracked (we are attaching another glass that can replace it), a few tiny chips on the rim, micro-scratches and slight wear of time, see photos.
