Rosewood shawl box with marquetry of light wood veneer (possibly lemonwood), decorated with bouquets of flowers and foliage, with an old shop label "[...] Fils Aîné - Nouveautés de Paris - Fontaine St Cristoly - Bordeaux", from the Napoleon III period, 19th century.
This box is in good overall condition, superb quality. We do not have its key.
Please note: some damage and missing pieces of netting or wood (especially in one corner), a crack in the bottom visible from the inside, scratches and wear from age, see photos.
