Articles
Turkish-Ottoman carved wooden snuffbox, representing on one side a trophy of arms with standards, flags, stars and arabesques; on the other a mosque with two minarets, inscription below with date (Hijra 122?), work most certainly of a prisoner, from the 19th century.
This snuffbox is in good condition, of fine quality. It has a double-rotation opening system at the top.
Note: tiny small cracks in the wood, slight wear from age, see photos.
