Round box in elm burl wood with a gilt bronze medal on the lid bearing the effigy of Emperor Napoleon I (by Gayrard), from the Empire period, 19th century.
This box is in good condition. The medal is signed Gayrard on the edge of the bust at the bottom.
Note: there are a few tiny stains, scratches and dirt, see photos.
