Articles
Round box in ivory and tortoiseshell, decorated on the lid with a painted miniature representing the portrait of a woman of quality, most certainly Queen Marie Antoinette with her feathered headdress, signed Rataud, circled in gold (or pompon), from the late 18th century.
This box is in good condition, superb quality. The miniature is signed on the side, see photos.
Note: vertical crack in the miniature, some small accidents and missing scales on the edge, some soiling, scratches and wear from age, see photos.
