Whist game box * blackened wood and golden brass fillets, Napoleon III period, nineteenth century.

This box is in good condition. The interior is made of rosewood. Lack compartments.
A report: the wood is a little worn on the lid, missing two brass fillets (on the edges right and left), time wear, see photos.

* Whist:

Whist is a card game removed, without a contract, of English origin. Whist the original had its heyday in the eighteenth century and nineteenth century.
