Great sewing kit solid gold finely chiseled head stamped eagle and owl, in an oval case in blackened wood and ebony adorned the cover of a gold monogram, XIXth century.
This kit is in good condition. The die is not the original, it is stamped the owl and date from 1809 to 1819. Other items date from 1819-1838 and are punched owl (except the needle holder is stamped eagle head).
A note: the case is opened by two (hinge reattach), small bumps and gaps on the case, micro-scratches and wear time, see photos.
