* Alfred Barye says Barye Son (1839-1882):

Although son and pupil of the famous Antoine-Louis Barye, this artist remains little known. Animalier too, he works in his father's workshop and produces a large number of racehorses, his best achievements, but also groups of birds, genre figures, most of them in bronze. His works remain, on the whole, of a good quality and are indicated by a great attention to the details. Alfred Barye began at the Salon of 1864 with a statuette and exposed irregularly until 1882. (Excerpt The Bronzes of the nineteenth century by P. Kjellberg).

Artist well on ArtPrice side.
