Bronze sculpture representing Joan of Arc in armor, holding her sword and her standard, by Dussart *, gray marble base, vintage early twentieth century.

This sculpture is in good condition. Signed on the title plate on the front.

A note: the sword is a little twisted, the standard can move, some micro-chips on the edge of the marble, dirt, micro-scratches and wear of time, see photos.

* Gustave Dussart (1875-1952):

sculptor. Student of Gérome. Member of French Artists since 1904., he appeared at the Salon of this company where he obtained an honorable mention in 1909. He sculpted for the facade of the Palace of Monaco "Le Secours" and "Le Progrès coming to the aid of humanity" (Cf Bénézit)
