Bronze sculpture with golden medal patina representing the goddess Demeter*, signed Bernard Jobin**, numbered 257/500, from the 20th century.

This sculpture is in good condition. Signed on the embankment (hard to see) and numbered.

A note: some dirt on the bronze, wear of time, see photos.

* Demeter (Ceres among the Latins). Daughter of Saturn and Rhea sister of Zeus (Jupiter). She is the "Mother Goddess", symbol of the fertility of the earth, goddess of agriculture and harvests.

** Bernard Jobin:

Born in Arc-et-Senans (Doubs), September 14, 1945. Beaux-Arts de Besançon. National Diploma of Sculpture. Since 1970, creates many monumental sculptures for National Education, public places... Participates in the main exhibitions. Gets different prizes.
