Small bronze sculpture representing a young woman lying down, a dancer in slippers and leotards, signed J. Garnier *, Art Nouveau period late 19th-early 20th centuries.

This sculpture is in good condition. Signed see photos.

A note: slight scratches and wear of time, see photos.

* Jean Garnier (1853 - c. 1910):

sculptor, enameller, carver, of Vendée origin. Self-taught with complete knowledge, he also signed enamel jewelry. Artist active at the end of the 19th century. Appeared at the Salon of French Artists where he obtained an honorable mention in 1892 (Bénézit extract).
