* Wilhelmine

(Wilhelmina Helena Pauline Maria van Oranje-Nassau, her full name in Dutch) (1880-1962) was Queen of the Netherlands from 1890 to 1948. Daughter of William III, born from a late union, she succeeded him, remaining under the regency of her mother Emma of Waldeck-Pyrmont until 1898. Involved in the defense of her country during the Second World War against the German occupier, although indifferent to the fate of the Jews of her country, Wilhelmina is one of the greatest figures in the history of the Netherlands in the 20th century.
She married Prince Henry of Mecklenburg-Schwerin (1876-1934) on 7 February 1901, becoming Prince Henry of the Netherlands. He was Prince Consort of the Netherlands from 1901 until his death.
