Pair of silvered bronze sculptures signed Emile Guillemin* representing two men, musicians: a violinist and a flautist, dressed in Renaissance fashion, with their swords, from the 19th century.

These sculptures are in good overall condition. Signed on the base.

Please note: there are a few minor dents, some dirt, scratches and signs of wear and tear, see photos.

* Emile Coriolan Hippolyte Guillemin (1841-1907):

(French School). Student of his father, Emile Marie Auguste, and of Salmson. Debuted at the Salon of 1870. A bust of Thiers by him is held in the Toul Museum, and "Eliezer and Rebecca" in the Montreal Museum. Honorable mention in 1897. (Cf. Bénézit)
