Beautiful bronze sculpture (lost wax technique) representing a peasant girl carrying a bucket on his head, signed Parodi *, and signed and stamped Susse Frères Paris ** publishers, vintage twentieth century.

This sculpture is in very good condition. It is signed on the base.

** The company Susse brothers founded in 1758 in Paris, originally stationery trade, she won acclaim in the art foundry. Both Susse brothers Nicolas and Victor, began by commercializing small bronzes in their stationery Passage des Panoramas. There are traces of their new business founders of Art in 1839, they publish a small catalog production. This is their first major contract with a renowned sculptor James Pradier, who launched their business in 1841.
