Exceptional brown patina bronze sculpture, signed Santa Coloma *, representing the Cobesse mare galloping mounted by a groom (stable boy) seal of the founder E.Colin & Cie ** Paris, XIXth century.
This sculpture is in very good condition and is of exceptional quality. It is signed on the terrace.

was born in 1882, after Emile COLIN had bought the company E.VIE and Co. A year later, COLIN created a new company bearing the same name, it is the definitive birth of the company Emile COLIN and Co. The house COLIN essentially repeats publishing models CARPEAUX. COLIN notably working with two employees, and VESPIERRE HAAN chaser.
