Very nice medal or bas-relief plaque representing the brnoze brown patina of Victor Black * Auteuil murdered by Pierre Bonaparte January 10, 1870, signed AM Demay 1870 XIXth century.

This medal is in good condition.

A note: slight wear and scratches time, see pictures.

* Yvan Salmon, said Victor Black (1848-1870) was a French journalist killed at the age of 21 years of a shot by a relative of Napoleon III. His murder sparked strong popular indignation and reinforced hostility toward the Second Empire.
