These sculptures are in good condition and are of exceptional quality. Elless are very decorative by their imposing size.

These centaurs were made according to the models discovered in 1736 during the excavations undertaken by Monsignor Fiuretti in the villa of the Emperor Hadrian, now preserved at the Capitoline Museum in Rome. Another copy of this model is known, also discovered in Rome in the eighteenth century and said "Centaurs Borghèse" (preserved in the Louvre Museum).

To note: trace of green patina in places, some small scratches and tiny shocks on the bronze, the centaur on the left (the oldest) moves a little on its base, some micro-splinters and wear on the marble of the pedestals, wear time, look good at the photos.
