Pair of Empire style candlesticks or torches in silvered bronze, entirely and finely chased (with scale-type motifs), tulip-shaped socket, straight stem decorated with a vegetal frieze and small flowers, mounted on a round base with moldings, chased with a small egg-and-dart frieze, 19th century period.
These candlesticks are in good overall condition, in their original state. They will need cleaning (a layer of varnish to remove). They have their bobeches.
Note: silver loss in places, some dents and wear consistent with age, see photos.
