Ancient cane carved box, decorated with a bearded man's head (possibly a sailor) on the pommel, underneath various animals (wolf, hen and lizard) and a naked woman in the hat, signed EB at back, in the bottom two snakes wrapped around the barrel, work of Popular Art, XIXth century.
This cane is in good condition, great quality. Signed on the back of the woman. man's eyes in sulphide.
A report: breakage and restoration on the barrel at the level of the lizard, missing eyes sulfide on the wolf, missing on the tails of snakes, small accident and lack on the tip of the hat of the man's pommel, a few cracks and wear on the wood, missing the ferrule, see photos (see red arrows).
