Old cane called Cape Hornier or captain, in shark vertebrae on iron core, wooden pommel, iron ferrule, sailor's work, XIXth century.
This cane is in good condition, it is in its own juice. These rods were often offered by sailors to their captain.
A note: the vertebrae move a little, probable oxidation of the iron rod, worn pommel, scratches and wear of time, take a good look at the photos.
