Very nice sketchbook, signed Georges and Jeanne Bethon representing particular character portraits and landscapes oriental North Africa (Morocco, Algeria ...), views of villages and landscapes of France, Sainte views Helena, portraits of various characters (soldiers, angel, florist Spanish ...) etc. of XIXth century.
These drawings are in good condition. Some are detached from the notebook. They are either signed or Bethon Jeanne Georges Bethon and some are dated 1868-1869. A report: the paper is slightly yellowed in places.
All drawings are not photographed, there a total of 35.
