Prelatice * pectoral cross of a bishop forming a reliquary (for the True Cross) in finely chiseled silver with a floral motif decoration, ends set with garnets, in the center a smaller cross in Rhine stones, hallmarked Minerva (1st title) and hallmark goldsmith Le Roux **, in its original box, vintage late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
This cross is in good condition and is of a remarkable quality. Hallmarked see photos, case also signed. It opens at the back.
A report: missing 3 small balls on the central cross, tiny accident at the screw of the right arm, (see red arrows), micro-scratches and wear of time ,, slight accidents and wear on the box, see photos.
** Goldsmith Le Roux Pierre (1887-1912): initials LR with a ball surmounted by a cross
of Latin form, shaped in precious metal. Insignia of ecclesiastical dignity, it is not a sign of jurisdiction. The prelate wears it either on the town dress or with the choir dress.
