* The Raingo house

was founded in 1813. The Raingo brothers settled in the 1830s at 8 rue de Touraine, then moved to 22 rue Vieille du Temple. They are originally specialized in luxury watchmaking. We also owe them a number of patents for astronomical clocks. Their production of clocks earned them a first success in the world of Parisian watchmaking. Then in 1840, they extended their production and embarked on bronzes for art and furnishings.
