Superb and large pendulum regulates * brown patina and white marble on top representing a couple of fishermen in a boat, base decorated with various characters: farmers and growers to work carrying baskets, crops and tools, sculptures signed Hyp.Moreau ** vintage late nineteenth century.

This clock is in good condition. The movement is signed Marti & Cie, it works. It will reattach to the dial and the hands. It will be to revise (the springs are good). We have the balance but not the key. It is signed on the boat and on the base.

A report: accident on the clothing of the woman on the boat, missing a piece of marble on one side of the base, shine on marble on the front, this clock will be to clean, wear and scratches time, although looking at the pictures.

* Hippolyte François Moreau (1832-1927)

was a French sculptor. He is the second son of the sculptor Jean-Baptiste Moreau and forms in his father's workshop. With his two brothers Auguste Mathurin and he moved to Paris to follow the teaching of François Jouffroy at the School of Fine Arts. From 1863 to 1914 he exhibited at the Salon of French artists where he sends decorative subjects most often inspired by the eighteenth century. He won a medal at the Universal Exhibition in 1878 and another at the 1900 World Exposition It mainly produces medium sized works and decorative or everyday objects: vases, statuettes, letter opener, map pockets in bronze, regulates or pewter.
