Superb and rare clock finely chiseled bronze, representing Love driving the chariot of fidelity pulled by a dog, decorated with a small lion head at the point of attachment of the harness, chariot wheel consists of the dial, movement signed * Grandhomme watchmaker in Versailles, vintage mid nineteenth century.

This clock is in good condition, is of remarkable quality and finesse of carving. The movement is signed by the watchmaker Granhomme (Versailles, 1840-1850, referenced in the Dictionary of French Clocks Tardy). The cock movement works, but will be reviewed. We have a key.

A note: missing the reins and harnesses, also lacks the torch Dial part moves relative to the base and Love also moves his chariot (his bow too), a needle was changed, slight wear of time, see photos.
