Louis XIV chest of drawers in satin wood marquetry and frames of blackened wood nets, opening with four drawers in three rows, finely chiseled gilded bronze ornaments decorated with masks, flowers and stylized shells, brass flange posts and crosspieces, large rear uprights, marble top breach, vintage early eighteenth century.
This dresser is in good general condition and is of high quality. We do not have his key. the marble was broken and restored.
A note: broken marble, some accidents, cracks and gaps on the veneer, some deformations and soiling on the brass flutes, missing a piece of bronze on a decoration of the right front foot, old wormholes, small hole in the rear of the dresser, wear of time, look at the pictures (see red arrows).
