Patinated and colored blown-molded glass vase, decorated with foliage, model n ° 941 "Esterel" also known as "Laurier-rose", signed R. Lalique *, vintage early twentieth century.

This vase in good condition. Signed on the bottom.

The model was created in 1923, appears in the catalog of 1928 and 1932, deleted from the catalog in 1937, not taken again after 1947. Bibliography: Félix Marcilhac, R. Lalique - Catalog raisonné of the work of glass, Les Éditions de l ' Amateur, Paris, 1994.

* René Jules Lalique (1860-1945)

is a French master glassmaker and jeweler, founder of Maison Lalique. He became famous for his amazing creations of jewelry, then perfume bottles, vases, candlesticks, clocks and, at the end of his life, car cabochons. The company he founded still operates and still creates many quality parts that make him famous around the world. The name of Lalique has remained attached to creativity and quality, because he has always known how to design sumptuous objects but remaining discreet.
