Royal Glassware of St. Louis, located Coetlosquet Street in the French town of Saint-Louis-lès-Bitche in Moselle is the oldest glassworks in France.
A first glassworks was established in 1586 at a place called Münzthal, Valley of the monks, explained by the abandonment of glassware Holbach, the previous year. The Thirty Years War causes havoc in the region and glassware ceased operations in the mid-seventeenth century.
