Pair of Louis XVI salt shakers finely chiseled silver decorated with putti or cherubim holding a medallion, all surrounded by floral garlands and stylized friezes, resting on four claw feet, punch Farmers General of Paris (1785) and goldsmith LJMB for Louis-Joseph Milleraud-Bouty *, vintage eighteenth century.
These salt shakers are in good condition. They are their blue crystal glassware. Hallmarked see photos.
A note: some tiny dentures and scratches on silver, missing a small piece of garland (see red arrows), some scratches on glassware, wear time, see photos.
* BOUTY Louis-Joseph dit MILLERAUD-BOUTY , born in 1733, master in 1779. Parts of this goldsmith are kept in the funds of major museums such as the Petit Palais in Paris or the Metropolitan Museum in New York.
