Pyx in silver gilt, with punches and Minerva Goldsmith Poussielgue-Rusand, nineteenth

Pyx in silver gilt, fully and finely engraved decoration of scenes from the life of Jesus Christ (the Nativity, the Passion, the Crucifixion, the Ascension of the Virgin Mary ... etc), punched Minerva (1 title) and punch goldsmith Poussielgue-Rusand * of XIXth century.

The ciborium is in good condition. The bowl, the lid and the base are punched.
A report: small clearance between the foot and the barrel (it will tighten), some scratches and normal wear, tiny bumps and dents on the cover (almost invisible), see photos.

* Goldsmith Rusand Poussielgue-Placide (1857-1891):

PPR punch with a heart, star, anchor and cross. Parisian silversmith known for his liturgical objects: chalices, ciborium, patens, monstrances. He is also the author of the altar of the Church of the Holy Trinity in Paris and the ring of light from the Notre Dame Cathedral in Paris. He also worked for the Cathedral of Notre-Dame d'Amiens where he made the superb bronze altar in the chapel of the Sacred Heart, and the reliquary of the head of John the Baptist. During his lifetime he received the title of "Manufacturer of the Holy Father the Pope." He formed Émile Evellin, goldsmith Breton.
