Amazigh jewelry : Jewelry made by Berber peoples from antiquity to the present day, often in cast or cut silver, or with inlays of mother-of-pearl, coral, or enamel. A distinctive feature of this metalwork is the ability to create pieces of enormous size. They are very often three-colored: green, yellow, and blue. Green represents sowing, yellow the harvest, and blue the floods. Jewelry plays an important role in women's social life and complements traditional dress. Most of these pieces (fibulae, bracelets, earrings) are worn in pairs.
