Rare large bouillotte lamp gilded bronze finely chiseled, three lights (adjustable in height) with leafy branches, base in perforated bowl richly decorated with friezes of palmettes, original lampshade made of red painted sheet supported by three chimeras with arabesques and topped with a headdress of Indian, period I Empire early nineteenth century.
This lamp is in good condition and is of exceptional quality of carving and decor. It is very decorative. The part with the arms of light is adjustable in height, the lampshade also, screw and unscrew with the two arrows. The shade has been electrified later, no longer works (we can arrange to have it re-electrify on request and quote).
A note: some scratches and small lack of paint on the lampshade (see last photos), slight wear of time, see photos.
