Brass and bronze desk or piano lamp, clamp base for installation, bulb in the cylinder, early 20th century.
This lamp is in its original condition. The electrical wiring may need to be serviced. It is installed on the edge of a table or shelf, as shown in the last photos. There is a small ignition button on the cylinder.
