Finely chiseled gilt bronze table lamp decorated with an eagle holding a glass paste tulip (possibly Muller Frères), base decorated with stylized motifs, model by Charles Ranc*, Art Deco period, early 20th century.
This lamp is in good condition, superb quality. Unsigned. The wiring has been redone and works perfectly.

founded his lighting bronze company in 1909 in Paris and set up shop at 64 rue de la Folie-Mericourt. His brothers Eugène and Auguste, as well as his sister Madeleine, joined him in 1928 and the company's name became "Ranc Frères". In 1930 the business was transferred to 97 rue Oberkampf. Ranc's productions were particularly renowned for the precision of its finely chiseled bronzes and the elegance of its lighting fixtures.
