Hand-painted oval-shaped miniature, representing the portrait of a woman wearing a pearl necklace with a cross pendant, signed C. Parmentier* and dated 1831, from the 19th century.
This miniature is in good general condition as well as its frame. Signed lower right.
A note: some scratches on the frame, wear of time on the miniature, see photos.
née Jolly, lived in Paris at 21, rue Culture-Sainte Catherine and exhibited porcelain miniatures and copies after Old Masters and artists of her time at the Paris Salon in the 1830s and 1840s.
