Very pretty hand painted round miniature, representing the portrait of a young woman wearing a headband in her hair, perhaps a portrait of Juliette Récamier, in a blackened wooden frame, from the 1st Empire period at the beginning of the 19th century.
This miniature is in good condition. It is not signed. The frame is certainly more recent.
