Finely chiseled solid silver ciborium decorated with a cross on the cover decorated with foliage, round base decorated with ears of wheat, reeds and bunches of grapes as well as small florets, Hallmark punch (1st title) and goldsmith Garnier *, mid 19th century.

This ciborium is in good condition. Hallmarked see photos.

A note: slight soiling on the bowl, micro-scratches and wear of time, see photos.

* Garnier Alexis : Parisian goldsmith active from 1842. A chalice is found in the Trésor de Lourdes. (See Dictionary of Liturgical Arts by Berthod and Hardouin-Fugier.
